After learning about micro loans and grants, I decided I wanted to personally fund small business loans for entrepreneurs who just need a little bit of support to get off the ground. Obviously, my resources are limited so by creating the Micro Entrepreneur Space, generous donors can make tax-deductible contributions to support entrepreneurs as they're starting out.
Most grants are between $100-500, but all requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The advisors take their role in evaluating applications and allocating funds very seriously. Many factors are considered, including the pitch, the viability of the business, the plans for the funds, and general availability of funds.
